Description
Facilitates the application and good adhesion of tin on steel surfaces to be tinned. Restom® PrimEtam 9420 is applied with a cloth or a brush to the workpiece, which has been heated with a torch, to create a bonding surface for easy wetting by the tin. Melt the tin on the surface of the hot part, or dip it in (in the case of cable ends, for example).
Finally, smooth the surface with a wooden wedge and even out the surface with a metal rasp called an écouenne (or écouane).
Guaranteed NON CORROSIVE for steel.
Can be used on copper, bronze and brass.
Not suitable for stainless steel or aluminium. Contains Zinc Chloride: do not use on drinking water pipes.
