Description
This DIN4 run-out cup is designed to check viscosity when applying paint with a spray gun.
The principle is to measure the run-out time of the paint ready for use. To do this, do the following:
- Fill the cup with paint (or dip the cup into the paint pot)
- Measure the run-out time until the thread of the paint stops running out of the cup
Adjust the viscosity of the paint using thinner, according to the following recommendations:
18-23 seconds for a 1 mm nozzle
20-28 seconds for a 1.5 mm nozzle
35-45 seconds for a 2.5 mm nozzle
