Polishing wheels

Ni-KIT polishing wheels are used with conical adapters. This system allows quick wheel changes without tools. The quality of our polishing wheels stands out in the assembly with steel bonding pins, leather washers and the thickness of the material used.  Polishing wheels are mounted on a polishing machine or an electric motor fitted with conical adapters. Only polishing wheels smaller or equal to Ø 100 mm can be mounted on a drill with tapered take-up mandrel.

W1 SISAL BUFFING WHEEL: Particularly hard wheel for removing residual scratches and sanding traces after sanding or blasting.

• For pre-polishing hard metals. Use with polishing compound P1 or with PSI.

• For abrading soft metals. Use with polishing compound P1.  

W2 STITCHED COTTON WHEEL: Tightly sewn together polishing wheel.

• For pre-polishing soft metals such as aluminium, copper, brass, bronze, etc. Use with polishing compound P2 brown.

W3 WHEEL IN LOOSE COTTON: Gives a shiny finish to all metals and nickel. Also suitable for pre-polishing polyester.

• For gloss polishing of all hard & soft metals. Use compound P3 blue.

• For high-gloss polishing of stainless steel. Use with PSI compound.

• For pre-polishing hard plastics & polyester. Use polishing compound P4.

W4 FLANNEL WHEEL: Made of individual ultra-soft flannel flaps ‘Swansdown Quality’.

• For gloss polishing of polyester & hard plastics. Use polishing compound P4.

• For high-gloss polishing of chrome. Use with polishing compound PSC.
