Description
Painting kit for renovating motorcycle engines
Destined for the renovation of Japanese (from +/- 1975) and European (from 1995 depending on the brand) motorcycle engines in light metal alloy, originally painted and of which the paint has faded over the years.
This kit is developped for a 4-cylinder engine and includes:
- Restom®KPM 6000 THT: a high temperature base (black or alu color): 0,25 L (cylinders - cylinder heads)
- Restom®KPM 6000 BASE: a satinated 2-composant high temperature paint: 600 g (flat carters)
- Restom®DILUANT 5020: a special thinner for spraygun use: 0,5 L
Characteristics:
- Colour: black
- Gives a glossy finish
- It is recommended to apply this paint with a spray gun for a better result.
- Also suitable for fork tubes, brake drums,…
- Resistant against oil, fuel and turning yellow (Not suitable for the exhausts (use Restom® BLACKPOT 8830 for that) and inside of the engine (use Restom® BLOCMOTEUR 8890 for that)).
- High wear resistance.
