This lamp does not have a glass bulb. However, the chips are protected by a factory varnish.
This lamp works on 12v, and gives a beam of +/- 2200 lm, (7 TIMES MORE POWER than the original lamp), by consuming maximum 1,ampere under 12v.

The current ECE certificates only apply to halogen, xenon and LED lamps installed in news vehicles. There are however no specific approval requirements or restrictions for the use of retrofit LED lamps on private roads.
