Description
Restom®Steelbronze 6060 is a kit designed to give metal a browned aspect, the typical colour of gun barrels.
This aspect can be found on the bolts and nuts of the oldest vehicles, certain mechanical parts, leaf springs, old metal pieces (lanterns, locks, weapons, etc…).
Not suitable for stainless steel.
Restom® Steelbronze 6060 provides a good quality anti-corrosion protection allowing the treated components to be used outside.
Not suitable for exhaust pipes.
The browning can be applied by steeping or with a brush, and requires 4 stages to obtain a beautiful and long-lasting result: degreasing, surface treatment with acid, browning and protection.
One kit can treat a surface of approximately 3 to 5 m² or 5 to 7 kg of nuts and bolts.
The result is only guaranteed when all the recommended products are used.
