Why a ventilated LED?

Automotive LEDs produce little heat, but their internal electronics remain sensitive. Active cooling efficiently dissipates residual heat, ensuring:

A non-ventilated LED can lose up to 40% of its initial brightness after a few minutes. With active cooling, the LED maintains an optimal temperature for maximum performance and enhanced safety.

 

Today, the replacement of halogen, xenon and LED lamps is not allowed under current legislation. In the EU, car parts must be certified according to UNECE specifications for use on public roads. Current ECE certificates only apply to halogen, xenon and LED lamps installed in new vehicles: However, there are no specific approval requirements or restrictions for the use of retrofit LED lamps on private roads.
