Description
Restom®Anodi Kit is an aluminium anodising kit that allows you to anodise and colour your small aluminium parts.
Principle:
Anodising aluminium consists of creating, via an electrolytic bath, an oxide layer on the surface of the aluminium. This layer is very hard, protects against corrosion and, due to its temporary porosity, allows for colouring in the material. It is also non-conductive to electric current.
The kit contains:
- 1 x stripper Aludecap DDM 2050 - 1L
- 2 x electrolytes Anodilyte 6200 - 1L
- 1 x 5L treatment tank
- 1 x titanium plate
- 1 x 1 m of titanium wire
- 1 x digital thermometer to check the temperature of the dye bath
- 1 x pair of soft protective gloves
- 1 dose of dye: 100 ml Restom® AnodiColor (to choose when ordering)
- 1 x 0-5A generator
