Description
FeDOX de-rusting concentrate is a product specially developed for removing rust from the inside of tanks and for removing rust from steel parts and is used to prepare FERTAN for surface protection. The steel parts/tank interior surfaces are absolutely bare when FeDOX is used. The product contains special wetting agents and biodegradable surfactants in aqueous solution. The metal rusted with FeDOX is protected from corrosion before being coated / painted with FERTAN. FeDOX is used in a 10% solution with water.

How to use: Preparation of an 11-litre bath: add approx. 7 litres of tempered water to approx. 60°C in the tank and slowly add 1 litre of FeDOX while stirring. Fill the tank completely with 3 litres of tempered water and mix well. Allow the tank to react for about 12 hours at room temperature. Empty the tank, collect the material in a suitable container for reuse. Rinse the tank very well with clean water, several times if necessary and add FERTAN to the tank, allow to react and then rinse very thoroughly with clean water. FeDOX can also be used in ultrasonic systems with altered concentrations. Constant temperature of approx. 55 - 60°C dissolves even strong corrosion in the shortest possible time.
