Description
Polishing paints and varnishes give following results:
1) Tarnished and lustreless paint: give back its shine and let is look like new
2) Recent paint: eliminating surface defects (dust, little flies, orange peel skin, …)
With Pack Éclat it is possible to obtain a showroom shine.
Using a polisher (with the foam scuffing pads hereunder) is practically essential for bigger surfaces (cars), using a micro fibre cloth is usually more than enough for smaller surfaces (motorcycles).
• Restom®Saphir 9060 No.1: Blue scuffing paste 1000 grid destined to remove the superficial layer of light to heavy damaged paints.
Is used with the blue foam scuffing pad (fitted with its velvet back on a polisher) or manually with a micro fibre cloth (or cotton rag).
• Restom®Quartz 9070 No.2: White scuffing paste 2400 grid destined to refine the polishing initially done with Saphir 2000 and also to remove orange peel shin from recently sprayed paints.
Is used with the white foam scuffing pad or a micro fibre cloth.
• Restom®Diamant 9080 No.3: Grey scuffing paste 5000 grid destined to obtain a high-gloss finish and as an addition for Restom Quartz 9080.
Is used with the black foam scuffing pad or a micro fibre cloth.
The end result is a perfectly smooth surface which is rain- and salt-proof, reduces sticky insects and gives a long-lasting protection to the bodywork.
It is not necessary to repeat this treatment on a regular basis.
